background in scene mode
« on: April 21, 2015, 11:02:53 am »

What happened with this :o. why is the background dulled in scene mode prior to render nowadays?I'm sure this wasn't always the case and i know i have brought this matter up before but i cant remember what was said.
It is the same on 3 computers i have tried it on with different graphics capabilities and operating systems.

What version are you using? Can you remember what version in which it wasn't dulled?

Not exactly remember but i know 97c beta 10:sep:08 shows all background images non dull.
Strangely just found that images of a certain spec show non dull in latest versions.
I cant work out what it is that allows or doesnt allow it show correctly.have included the image file that shows as normal whatever the version and another that dulls in the current version.

For me it shows it being darker than the original image while in the workspace, but rendering seems fine on my end, aside from the OpenGL renderer.

yeah renders fine whatever version...the issue only relates to the workspace as i say the workspace isn't dulled in 97c
nor is it dulled in current versions with the image file i have included in the zip file.

I experimented with your images and I think I've found the problem.  THere seems to be some texture blending problem when it's drawn by OpenGL.  (Paint all 4 corners on an image green and see what happens :) )

I'll fix it, obviously.
