Another case design
« on: July 09, 2014, 05:07:13 am »

A friend of mine was wanting to do a cheap gaming PC build and we had a short talk about custom cases and I offered to lend my services so I can get some practice in doing more custom designs. Which got me to thinking 'n doing some concepts and this is got I came up with this quick and dirty model in about an hour.

i have no idea how the physics would work out if you went ahead and tried to build it (might need thicker corner posts for strength?), but it's a very cool concept.  just needs a front door  8)

the whole front piece is the door panel :P
maybe you can't tell but I did add a optical drive on one of the 'floors'

Basically the case would have a normal frame, but panels would be mostly made out of plastic like acrylic and made to look like a skyscraper.

i meant a little model of a door on the 'ground floor' so that the imaginary office workers can get in and out, rather than an actual access panel for the computer user.  just being daft really :D
