DARN, I just can't stop making all this stuff! I just LOVE Anim8or right now!! I modelled the trombone a coupla years ago and decided to revisit it. I made the hat really quick and have been working on the glasses for a little while. What do you guys think??

It's stylish, and wow, it looks so realistic! Did you use ART or...?

Thanks, Thanos! And yup, ART, with a little Gimp post-processing for the shallow depth-of-field effect.

Swag! But is the texture of the curtain supposed to bend like that at the lower end?

Haha, thankya, fss!! It was meant to look a bit like a photo studio backdrop, where the curtain just bends down to the floor.

Huh? I'm not addressing the curtain itself. Just the weird part at the base where the texture folds:

it's official; I have no idea what you're talking about.
Well, fss, I'm gonna do my best to try to figure out what weird part your citing specifically....
That white background thing? Or those 'wood' areas behind it?

Oh yeah. That, uh.... that............. Let's assume it's meant to look a bit like hard work flooring. Like, a wood wall, the baseboards, and then hardwood slabs of flooring.

I didn't think it was wood.

Actually, I thought it was a big red curtain that was hinging up in the foreground all along, and the underlying background was white.

Oooh, I can see how you'd get that- It appears to cast a shadow onto the white part (off to the right side), when really it's just that the light just isn't focused in that area. Good thing that got cleared up.

Hey, looks good davdud101.
It feels a bit sad though. Like a remembrance.

Definetly see where that's pulled from, Crash. It's a really 'stable' scene, having every object deliberately placed in a way that makes it feel lonely. 'Specially with that 'downward-tipped hat'.
