;D Ha, ha, I think everybody are mistaken. I think, as Raxx said, the image he uploaded is just an example and not his entry :D. But maybe I'm wrong :P

I have a few concepts for this one but I need to ask. Is it frowned upon to reuse models? The best concept I thought of so far for this challenge involves using the same model that I used in my previous entry.

Yeah my image was just an example, I won't be using that shot for my final work.

As for reusing models, the Anim8or challenges have always been where you make it all from scratch unless it's actually specified in the challenge topic. So in this case I'd say it'd be frowned upon ;) You can make a similar or alternate model, however.

I'm working on something but due to class(how annoying it pops up when I'm getting productive) all I've got is the concept plus this screen of the model.

I'm not at home right now so I can't share the concept sketch. But the basic idea is that this guy will be looking through a glass window/cockpit glass looking down at the ground. I'm just finishing this head up and then I'll borrow and tweak the body from an old model to speed up the process. Hopefully I'll have setup the scene by tomorrow.

Meh, as with every other time I attempt to use splines, my project ended up inside out

What do you mean by 'inside out'?  Splines can be used to create relatively complex solids far quicker than box modelling.  Occasionally the faces will be reversed after creation but this is a simple thing to fix.  Can you provide more information?

Because the faces were inverted, my use of the non uniform scaling tool made it sort of... err...

Well, it was a tower, but because there only needed to be one side I didn't notice that it went in instead of out at the bottom.

Is the deadline pushing through today? I won't be able to finish this thing within today. Most likely I'll be done by tomorrow.

I'm curious since no one has submitted yet, cant here be an extension? If not that is fine.

EDIT: Here's a test render of what I have so far. I need to adjust lighting, texture and get a better background.
