if anyone knows for sure, or if steve would be willing to say, is there any plan for animations/bones being exportable in the future? it would be nice to export OBJ/3DS with animations already attached to the file for use in other programs.

Good suggestion. I needed that a time ago for a coleague at work. He work with other 3d software, but we solved that very easily. I made the entire promo :))
