How do you create good and realistic faces?
« on: March 04, 2008, 05:48:50 am »

Hello, I have just joined this Anim8or Forum site. I am 14 years old and have used Anim8or for about 8 months, I have read the Anim8or manual. I know how to make faces. But I want to create proper realistic ones, that I can use for my animations. Can anyone help? I just need a simple answer to help me. Thanks

The best you can do is to find a good tutorial...
Here is link to MP3D's page - you will find some cool human-modeling tutorials there:
http://www.mp3d.info/Anim8ortutorials/page2.html

Also try the tutorials section on this page and if you don't find what you're looking for, Google is your best friend...

Good luck!

The Joan of Arc tutorial is a very famous tutorial, and perhaps one of the best around.  It wasn't made for anim8or, but with experience in anim8or you can easily translate what they do into anim8or and use the techniques and ideas in anim8or to create your own head.

Don't be afraid to search for tutorials using other programs as most times they can be translated too anim8or.
