I would also hope that anybody wishing for more from Anim8or had fully utilised all aspects of the current package. For example, if you are proficient at full organic modelling, expert at rigging and skinning, skilled at morphing, accomplished at walk cycle sequencing, can not only construct complex scenes but render them out using the full gamut of ART renderer functions, have actually animated something instead of just still frames or game elements, and have put some of your work on this site for appraisal, then and only then might you feel justified in wanting more from Anim8or.
Very, very few Anim8ors I am aware of, myself included, have fully explored and mastered all aspects of Anim8or's capability. Certainly there is a wide range of functions and tweaks that would improve Anim8or, but the latest version is still amazingly powerful for its tiny resource drain and one-man construction, and truly keen animators will be able to fill in the gaps in Anim8or's ability with other software packages, or plain raw talent. Check out the gallery over there on the left of your screen, if you think you are up to the standard of images on just the first page then maybe you are ready for more!
Rest assured that Anim8or remains a work in progress. Could I suggest that while Steve prepares the next update, we all continue enjoying this free, fun, challenging piece of software and keep honing our skills. I believe the current version has more than enough to keep us all challenged for a while yet!
