3D "Bear"
« on: October 16, 2009, 11:35:14 pm »

There's a long story behind why I made this, but that would take a while to explain, while looking at this does not!

What do you guys think?

Model: Anim8or
UVmapping&Animation: blender
texture: the GIMP

That's a nice funny model!  It looks pretty low poly, is it for a game?
You also said there that animation was done in Blender, could we see the animation?  It looks good though, I like the cartoon effect and all.

Yup, though it's not technically for the game; I've been working as a primary 3D artist and wanted more experince with lowpoly.

I do have dial-up so I mainly shy away from uploading videos and such, but I'll link an animation vid here in a bit.

was the render in Anim8or or Blender?

It's a very nice toon shader though. Reminds me mostly of the style of the Okami console game.

I actually didn't use any special shaders; it's all in the texture. Also, rendered in blender.
