Animating a worm or catepilliar

 :) Can anyone tell me the steps of how you animate a worm or catepilliar i need this know how cause i need to make an animation. Plz i will appreciated.  ;D ;D

i'm not an expert, but this is how i'd do it:
first, create what your worm would look like at it's full length, like:------- as aposed to ----^-.
next, add a morph target where it is like ----^-.
after that, in scene mode, every half-second the morph should switch from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0

Maybe check out this tutorial: http://anim8or.com/tutorials/from_users/morphs/MorphTut.htm

It shows how to animate a flag, which is pretty similar to animating a worm.
