shape problem
« on: September 08, 2008, 01:38:36 pm »

I had a problem when I tried to build a cylinder with diameter larger than the height. The default is quite the opposite and when I tried to make changes I distorted the shape entirely. Any way around this?
tnx..

Double click on the primitive, a settings box will show up. Here you can change the length, start-end, diameter and faces of the object. Then convert to mesh (build>convert to mesh). Or convert to mesh and use the non-uniform scale tool (n).

i would scale it up in size, then mark only the Y axis and stretch it down to the height you want.
