Can Anim8or export model animation along with the model?
« on: April 11, 2012, 10:11:55 am »

Truespace supports this so if Anim8or doesn't I can always import my A8 models into TS for animating via X or 3DS. Also, will A8 import animation via the 3DS importer? Thanks, Leroy.

The answer is no. Anim8or can neither import nor export animation data, except when utilizing its own .an8 file format. .3DS only imports as static models in the object editor.

Texel has a .an8 converter here, but the animation support is rather limited. Best bet is to just animate using TS.
