Portal Turret
« on: January 26, 2010, 09:53:24 pm »

I just realized I hadn't touched anim8or in quite some time, and figured I'd break out of my hiatus with something I really enjoy.

Yes it is the turret from the game portal, I even went into the source SDK and stole the wall and ground texture.

It's not quite complete yet for I still have to do a finishing render and tweak it a bit but I figured I'd just leave this here for the time being

Good stuff, I'd recommend you render it with antialiasing turned on to make the edges and textures crisper.

Yea I know, I love anti aliasing, I just didn't turn it on for this render because it was just supposed to be a quick pass, and I wanted to see if the bumpmaps worked correctly or not.
