Halo 3D Desktop
« on: December 19, 2009, 08:44:09 am »

Hi. i make this experiment,
I make a basic desktop shell in darkbasic and modeled in anim8or, and work fine.
I try to make some similar to halo consoles in the game, but in virtual 3d.
i add posibility to use anny skin you made.. (use png format)
You can use this for fly in your computer files, execute etc.. this is an experiment.
(is no very useful... but work..)
here are one video maked in flashback (make frame rate down to 12 but the desktopshell work up 60 fps in a pentium II, 128mg.800mhz widthout flashback)

Note: Sorry my very bad english (traductors not work well)

- target fly
- Working in a better task..

thats pretty cool. i know your not done with it but the only problem i see is accessability. like how does your 3d desktop make it easier to go through files and folders. in my personal opinion i can do without all the bells and whistles. if i could i would go back to windows 98. but the graphics and how it works on your project is very impressive. i look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
