Reusable Public Library
« on: August 25, 2008, 04:20:46 pm »

Can't some of the wiser guys develop a ready to use library to use with Anim8or? The library would contain general purpose full models like human models (both male and female), models of common things as well as animals, trees etc. In my opinion most complex modelling is that of human models. The library would contain many types of human models like fat, thin, tall, young, old, formally dressed etc. This would help hundreds of Anim8or users to make long and quality animations quickly as modelling takes hefty amount of time.

But then what's the point of having the software? just find one of those model download sites, and import the files into anim8or.

I totally agree with you RnDr FOX, but he searches a library, it's not better to improve himself :) so I propose to him one solution, sure it's not the best to progress

Remember what me and Paulo said if you want to get better then you don't want to rely on this.

And if you need more tutorials then MP3D can help you out

There's a nice new repository at CG-nation.com as well.
I plan to put up a very nice rigged model that sir bonovox contributed that should help.
