Goodmorning,

per subject, I have just joined your forum and want to know what version of anim8or is being used successfully. 
I don't want to be using a version that others have abondoned or not picked up on yet. 
If I have questions, I should say, WHEN I have questions, I would like to be using the same software version that everyone else is using.

Hey SDD, good to see you here!

Most people are using version 0.97D:
http://www.anim8or.com/download/preview/anim8or_v097d_preview.zip

Even though it is a beta version it is very stable, and has a lot more options than the last official release.

My advice would be to go with that version

I will down load and install this version with the assumption that this is the version that most forum members will be using.

I use anim8or v.95c , but I render all my movies and pictures with v.97d , because it renders better.

the art raytracer is a wonderful thing, ain't it?

Although .97d crashes a lot less, it sometimes corrupts files 
But that might just be because I'm now making more complex models
