subdivisions using shapes created from splines
« on: February 26, 2009, 11:54:37 am »

Hi anim8ors  :D
i would just like to ask if anyone knows how to create better subdivisions from shapes that were created using splines. For example im trying to model a dolphin but when i created the fins using splines then extruded and subdivided them, they came out rather crinkled. is there a way to make them smoother and better. Ok im kinda new so i guess these things come with time but some tips would be appreciated too!!
many thanks to anyone who replies, your replies are going to good use  :D

Again: Read the Manual!! There is a model of a shark which explains the method: http://anim8or.com/manual/3_object_editor.html#subdivision_objects
