That's a strange bug you got there. I doubt if it matters if you download an other file, I think the problem is your computer. But here is a link to my anim8or and all my scripts maybe that it will work out for you.

Hah, Rudy, I feel ya there. If only people would learn some basic computer skills/experience/common sense before they picked up Anim8or, eh? Then half their requests for help would resolve themselves.

You'd think someone could figure out that "Save" overwrites the current file that's loaded (so obviously, if there's no .an8 file loaded in anim8or, there's no option to just "Save"), "Save As..." saves a new file to a new location or can replace an older file, and in order to save a new file you have to type in the new "File name" and click "Save", after navigating to the folder you want to save it in...afterall, the computer isn't a mind-reading machine and apparently you have a keyboard.

Maybe nowadays new computer users only learn how to boot their computer, load their internet browser, and navigate to youtube or myspace, or upload music to their ipod.

Raxx provided you with a usable reply, but I'll add an observation:

Help is best given, and appreciated,  by those with a modicum of understanding about what to do with the advice.  I'm sorry to say that, from your post, it was fairly apparent you have little understanding of basic computer file handling principles.  There are better places than this forum from which to obtain that knowledge, especially if you intend to use programs that assume you already have that knowledge.

OK, here's what to do:
In Anim8or when you want to save a new file do this File->Save As
A window will pop-up called "Pick a File"
Add a name at "File name" (e.g. project.an8)
Navigate to the place where you want to save the file and then click on "Save"
