General Anim8or Forum / Need help making a human female
« on: February 06, 2009, 09:28:49 pm »
As the title said I need help making a female human figure. I was going to make one half of teh body and mirror the other half and mirror and connect them. But I'm having trouble building the one side of the body.

Could somebody get or show me a tutorial on how to make a female human? I'd well appreciate it!

To replicate characters from certain movies, would actaully phsyically having parts and figures of the model help the best?

These will be the standard 1.5 hour movies and will be photorealistic, like in Toy Story. I can't really answer as to how many characters but I would say quite some... as in like 30 or 40 something chracters, and yes, that includes extras. The scenes we'll try not to make too too complicated but as lifelike as possible.

It's funny you mentioned Pixar b/c I wanted to do a fanfiction sequal to one of Pixar's movies, replicating the characters and stuff and I also wanted to do a three-movie franchise.

I heard it takes a lot more than just making and modeling characters, sets, and props to make a movie and it isn't a one-man job. It takes a lot of people to make one movie according to what somebody told me. How many people exactly do i need?

- I work on the stories and all
- I would be the modeler,
- Another person would help me with the modeling and designing elements
- One person would work on the animation,
- I would help with the animation
- and we would all do the voices for the characters.

But how many people exactly would it take to do the animations?

Hey y'all,

So I tried once again.

I did try to make the arms and legs but I just don't have that much experieice with this program.

This is what I made so far;

This is what I'm using to help
http://www.pixar.com/featurefilms/ts/images/behind_buzz_wire.jpg

And here's what I was wondering, I was wondering if there were any good 3d modelers here so I could work with them. I build the most of the figure I can and the other can finish it.

Well I, as one who has very almost one year of experience with this progeam would have a long list but

- Makeing holes for screws.
- Doing the arm (the shapes and the flap for the communicator/scanner)
- The buttons, the legs and feet,
- The hands will have to be the hardest part.
- Those two purple things on the torso,
and I may need assistance with the back...

Just wondering if anybody's a good 3d design modeler

General Anim8or Forum / Can anybody help me design a room?
« on: October 13, 2008, 11:55:52 am »
I'm trying to build a room with two doors and two windows like the pictures here.

http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd341/SPD_Blue/?action=view&current=doors.jpg
The two doors on a separate wall.

http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd341/SPD_Blue/?action=view&current=walls.jpg
Just a corner, and note the white wall under the wallpaper.

http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd341/SPD_Blue/?action=view&current=window.jpg
Window. I couldn't get a shot of the other window at the other wall but that's the best shot I could get.

http://s530.photobucket.com/albums/dd341/SPD_Blue/?action=view&current=clouds.jpg
And that;s the wallpaper I want to apply to the room.

I just want to build a replica of that room. Can anybody show me how? I'd well appreciate it.

Before I begin, I think it's rather polite or proper etiqute to say hey to ya'll because I'm new here. I just joined.

Anway, as i said in the title I can't install Anim8or with Vista. I'm being told many times that it can be done but how?
I don't want to have to install any hardware. So please, no advice reguarding video cards or drivers (unless you can download dtivers lol)

WinXP? What's that? How do i get there? Can it activate Anim8or in Vista?
