Finished Works and Works in Progress / Re: Star wars rifles

Thanks for the comments guys.

Here's a little update: The DH-15 blaster pistol, as used by the rebels onboard the
'Tantive IV' in episode 4: 'a new hope'. Again, this one uses the same texture.

Personally I can't make a real choice, They both have their strong points. However on first sight i'd
choose the second one.
Really great work btw.

I agree, this model already looks good, but it'll look great once it's textured. The front details
are nice too. Good work.

Nice models, I really like the turbolaser tower.
Keep up the good work.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Star wars rifles
« on: November 07, 2008, 02:48:00 pm »
Hey everyone,

These are my blaster rifles from star wars that i've made. The first one is a DC-15A, the gun
used by clonetroopers in episode 2. The other is the E-11, the basic stormtrooper rifle as
seen in 'A new hope'.

Each of these took about 3 hours to make. convenient is that they both use the same texture.
However, i'll remake the texture because i think it's a little to repetitive.

I'll update this post with new guns in time.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Imperial commando helmet
« on: October 16, 2008, 03:04:43 pm »
Hey everyone,

This is my clone commando helmet form the game 'Star wars: Republic commando' but with an imperial texture.
I've been using anim8or for almost 2 years now(however this is my first post on the forum), but this is the first model i've ever done without boxmodelling.
I might have overdone the bumpmap a little, but i think it came out pretty good.
