yeah, make sure you have things like that turned off.  I have a 20 inch extended monitor and I use it for modeling, but since my computer is powering two monitors, on the second one everything is lagy, but on the lap tops monitor it works fine.

thanks!

yeah I just threw them together, but after I go to school for game and sim development, I'm going to do better textures.

4
not sure if I will keep them like this, probably will change the color.  but all the textuers are self made and put on my famous scifi figure (which I hope to use in a game in the future)  I cant texture map yet so the back and front of his face are all funny, but the angle of the render does not show it to much.

lemy know what you think

1)  yeah I made her to skinny, I was trying to put a lot of detail in, but ended up making look like that, hehe

2) the imprints are mesh defects from mesh to subdevide,

still working out the kinks, but taking a brake for now, glad you all like it and I'll see about putting up a wire mesh shot

LOL, funny, yeah acually those parts are hard to model.

you know its funny, this reminds me of a question my wife asked me, she asked " why is it when you model a female you always get the body right but strugle with the head , hands and feet?" i have tried to explain those are more detailed parts but she seems to think it has to do with focus.

awesome model man, you could possibly do a blade animation that is kinda like you see when wheels are spinning where it almost looks like it is going backwards. not sure how to go about that, but I supose you could do an animation where the blades are step by step going backwards literally, but also litteraly going forwards, like walking backwards on a tread-mill.  your feet are stepping backwards but your body is still moving forwards....  it would probably look like its spinning really fast.  idk, try it maybe

thanks man :D  glad you like it.  I Hope to one day possibly start a game studio and use that charactor in a game.   Right now I'm looking into schools for game/simulation development.

thanks

here is anohter quick render of her, I tried to "femailize" her a little more and am atemting hair...  probably going about it wrong, IDK how to model hair, but it kinda looks more girl-ish
