i think guard tower came out pretty good, but encampment on overall could be better.

thanks for your feedback, it gives me motivation to keep modeling. for grass textures, i know they suck, but i couldnt make them better. i'll try again later.
And for Escher-ish effect, it was unintentional, probably just ortho look made it.

Edit: here are improved textures.

here it is, my next creation. bench in a park. i tried to add lamp also, but i need to see few tutorials about iluminations first.

The boolean plugin only works when both shapes are 100% "closed" (for example a sphere or a cube). If a shape is "open" (for example a sphere with one face missing), it is not possible to determine what is inside and what is outside and that's why the script doesn't work.
for now, group saved th problem.
ok, only thing weird here is, that i could first, union cylinder and 2 spheres, bend them, union another cylinder, bend them a bit  and then i tried to union another cylinder, and i got that error.  is it possible that unioning the first 2 cylinders deleted some faces?

i have (another) question about boolean union from that script. when i try to union 2 meshes it says to me "1 or more selected shapes are open"
 any idea?

and another one.
for textures, is there any way to load them from file?
lets say i would have .jpg 20x20 pixels, with sample of wood. and i would apply it on tree, that i made, and anim8or wouls strech/tiler it all over my tree.

thank for all, folks. i kinda lost hope on leaf (i tried to rebuild it, but result was all the same.)
now i'm playing with cup of a plant.

once again i am asking, whats the simplest way to subtract 1 object from other (to build holes and stuff.)

mhm, i got it where the problem was. 1 edge is missing on the bottom of the leaf.(still, i dont know how that could happen). so tell me,  u masters; how ca i add edge, and create faces betwen those 3 edges?. i'll post screenshot, when i get to my PC again

hi all
here's the thing, i was upgrading eggplant from tutorial (i'm still rookie), and i wanted to add leaf on stem. before smoothing, leaf looks like this:

it was made by extrudinh and moving points.
when i run build-> subdivide faces, i get following:

any idea, why do i get this?

in addition, i wanna ask whats the quickest way to subtract 1 object from another. (i saw tutorial, but it seems like a long way tio do it, especialy if u have to do a lot of subtractions.)
