This is a theatre I designed and modeled. Any suggestions on how to make it more realistic?

That thing scares me O_O. I like it, though. The eyes DO look slightly out of place, but I don't know how you could change them...Too tired..NEED SLEEPSSSSS!

I might try lathing it, but how would I? It's a cube with a circle in it...How would I lathe that???? Anyway..The lathed thing sent to me in the other thread was the lens...I used it as an example (I had never learned about splines and lathing and whatnot before that)..Still a newbie...still learning ^_^

Thanks..I didn't lathe that...I made a cube and used terranim8or to perform a boolean subtraction function...And the mesh I used to subtract was a cylinder.

REALLY pleased with the way this came out...Just need to edit one thing in the final rendering. Will do that another time. Please tell me what you think ^_^

Anybody know how I can make the circle in the middle of the cubes in front of the fixture more circle-like? Right now it is like a 20 sided shape and it bothers me. Thanks.

Yeah..I figured out the meshes couldn't be converted after I tried it lol ^_^...But my problem is making the shape..I will try different things and post again later..look at my previous post for a better example of the actual lens.

I drew a spline and lathed it, but that didn't work.. (http://www.starmgc.com/images/fresnel.jpg) A better representation of the lens.

Hey, all. I am currently making a model of a theatrical light called A Fresnel lantern. I have completed everything but the lens. I can't figure out how to make the lens look like a Fresnel lens (http://spie.org/Images/Graphics/Newsroom/Imported/333_1628_0_2006-08-05/333_fig1.jpg) Look at the image all the way to the right. That is a side view of what the Fresnel lens should look like. Any ideas?
