General Anim8or Forum / Re: Extruding Logo

NeiraoŽs solution is good but I still have some problems.  :-\

When I export my model in Corel Draw to Wings 3D It loses quality (Like if it only exported the points but not the "curve vectors"). IŽll try playing with the parameters in the Trace Bitmap but I would like to know if there is another thing I should do.

Thank you for all your help.

EDIT:
I finally made it. I just used 0 in Smoothing to add more points. The model looks very good in Anim8or.
Thank you.

My problem is solved so we can close this topic.

General Anim8or Forum / Extruding Logo
« on: January 15, 2009, 05:24:32 pm »
Good day everyone.

I have a Logo in Corel Draw and I want to import it to Anim8or so I can Extrude it and make a 3D rotation animation (Like the one in the cover of this site).

So far, in the manual I havenŽt found anything.

The Logo includes only letters but with some Style (I donŽt know the font)
Using Paths would take some time, that is why I am looking for more options.

Thanks.

General Anim8or Forum / Re: Rendering Isometric model with specific size

Thank you for your comments.

As you say, maybe 32px is too small, but if I can do it with 32px then I will be able to do it with other sizes.

Anyway, IŽll keep trying and if I find something useful I will share it with you.

General Anim8or Forum / Rendering Isometric model with specific size
« on: January 07, 2009, 11:10:40 am »
Good day everyone.

I finished my model and manipulated the view to get an Isometric one.
Now I want to render my model but I need:

1. The final image to be 32px width.
2. That my model occupies the total width of the image.

If I use another program to crop and resize the model, it might lose some quality so I would like to know if I can do it all in Anim8or.

Thank you.
