@xalener:  FYI, there is a 64-bit version of the .NET framework, and it can be found here: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=70849

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Feature Request: DLL plugins
« on: June 04, 2009, 01:10:15 pm »
I apologize if this has been asked before, but I think that a DLL-based plugin architecture would be a huge plus for Anim8or.  Not only do many other 3D modelers have such a system, but it would greatly simplify importing/exporting to binary file types, as well as provide much greater speed than workspace scripts when manipulating modeling data.  I have implemented such a structure on applications of my own, so I do not believe it should be a huge hurdle, though that would of course depend on Anim8or's core structure.  Steve, what is the possibility of this?

I second that; IMHO, the data should be taken from the vertex buffer, not from the somewhat lossy Euler angle conversion.

Wow, this is terrific!  I have been "out" of 3d modeling for way too long, the latest version of Anim8or I have is 0.95.  I am definitely updating it now; keep up the great work, Steve!
