can i just say that it is free to sighn up and only some pages require that, such as the forum and offers page. the site is totally free of charge for every feature. When i get a microphone sorted out, the tutorial page will be updated and will teach you how animation works, what softwares to use as you progress through the couse, and its all free of charge. The fantastic offers page offers you a reange of free personalised animations, such as a 20th century fox intro with YOUR NAME ON IT!

I hope you learn and have fun with my site.

thank you for reading.

« on: December 22, 2008, 04:33:48 pm »
I made a room like that ones for a contest (image 1). I pretty simple: take a plane and make one wall using edge loops (image 2).
Then copy those walls 4 times to create a room by connecting them. Cut holes for the door and windows using the knife tool. Model a simple frame for the windows and door (image 3) and place them in the holes.
After that you can add many details like doorknobs, hinges etc.
hey floyd86 i would like to thank you, you seem to reply to every questin with in about 30 mins with a correct and helpful answer, thank you.

Have a nice christmas.

General Anim8or Forum / Re: how do i make a wood texture?
« on: December 22, 2008, 02:58:07 pm »
i know you have already been answered, but a great piece of freeware which can be used for making your own textures is GIMP, go to gimp.org to download it. If you already have it you can find some great tutorials on youtube, or if you have photoshop, there is no use in downloading GIMP. Hope this helped out.

im sorry mate i cant help you, but id like to say that i am amazed that c4D users use anim8or, if you see the youtube video anim8or vs blender it says that anim8or is half a star, but it cant be all that bad.
thanks

Lewb001

Please realise that youtube.com/watch?v=4dLfzyvln5c]this youtube video you talking about isn't a objective one. It just some guy sayin that the one with the best pictures is the best software. Which isn't completly true. I suggest to take a look at youtube.com/watch?v=srOBLT26fdE]this reply to that video.
Oh sorry i have seen that video but when i posted that comment i never ment it in a bad way, i 100% agree with you mate. sorry if it seemed like i was bad mouthing anim8or.
Thanks
