i agree with you people there are lots of modeling/animation/render programs out there anim8or is an amazing work of art and blender is a powerful program but they are two different animals they cannot be compared very well.

i think you should experiment with both programs and show your own feelings on them. that would be less biased because you are not basing your work on what others say but instead on what you have seen yourself. but feel free to do what you will ;)

an easy way to do a good headband is to make the head have 2 little "thingies" off of the back like the ends of the knot and then just have the texture on the head look like whatever headband you might want to use.

if you want to change the frame rate you can go to  View>Preferences and at the bottom of the window there will be different things you can do to the frame rate. ;)

i like doing animation but one thing i don't understand is why it is different moving the bones in scene mode then in figure mode?
