Hello all,
I just finished a model I've been working on. It's a Mayan-inspired pyramid. It has 992 points, 1572 faces. Like all my models, it might be used in a game (if I get around to it :) ) so the faces are all triangles, and was trying to get it as low poly as possible.

Please criticise the crap out of it :D

OK, I will work my way up.
The background picture insults your pyramid (I see it as a temple), it's better to get a plane and add a texture, it wont look so blurred.
The stairs in the middle are too blurred, why not actually make some instead of getting a texture?
And the bit at the top has nothing inside it, what did you do, extrude a cube?
Hope I wasn't too harsh.
But I like how you added the green at the bottom to look like moss so as to add age to the building.
*sniff sniff* uh, criticized too hard!

why is it in tri's?
quads are much better.

Yeah i agree with Tanzim with mostly everything there except for the:

Overall it looks nice, except for the background - Tanzim's solution would look better - and the cube (temple ?) on the top looks a bit small compared to the size of the bannister at the top of the stairs.

That's a nice start. I agree that you should have some sort of ground. If you have one, you can also cast shadows which could greatly improve the realism of the scene.
Here's a tutorial I wrote for using shadows: http://hihosilver.anim8or.org/Tutorials/rendering-tutorial/rendering_tut_final.html (http://hihosilver.anim8or.org/Tutorials/rendering-tutorial/rendering_tut_final.html)
That's a good start though.
