Title: !!! HELP !!! . convert to mesh doesnt work?

 ???  I have watched this video: youtube.com/watch?v=69gb4T7cuXE[/youtube]&feature=related]http://www.

&feature=related (http://www.[youtube)[/color]  (on youtube) and when i click "convert to mesh", to convert my ball to mesh (in the build tab) nothing happens (or it isnt the same as the one on youtube, so i assume that nothing happens)  please can someone help thanks.  ???

did you have the sphere selected when you clicked Build<convert to mesh??? if so here is the procedure to make sure you are doing everything correct :)

when you first start up anim8or and the project starts click on the "add sphere" button or do shift+S on your keyboard. then use the mouse to drag out a sphere on the screen. there should be some yellow lines around the sphere those mean that it is not a mesh. then click Build<convert to mesh, the lines should turn white. this means that the sphere is now an editable mesh! good luck i hope to see more posts by you soon :)

no problem i always like to help those who are newer. anim8ing is totaly impossible if you just do tutorials because they don't always make sense thats why the community is here ;-)

two or three things:

occasionally, the community doesn't make that much sense either, but fortunately those occasions are very rare, so long as you explain your issues clearly, which you did in this case ;D

and the other thing was, i didn't do all that many tutorials.  maybe that explains why i still don't know how to do certain things, 5 1/2 years later... :P  ::)

spo2: Have you read the manual, because you could probably find the answer to your question there, also use the Search bar
(I realize that telling you this is now pointless because you have your answer, but still use them)
