Title: Putting together raw images

If I render my scene as a .jpg or .bmp, what program can I use to put the frames into a movie that way I can view each individual frame and watch it as a movie.

a very small utility program, whose sole purpose in life is to convert a folderful of .jpg files into a single .avi: JPGVideo (http://www.ndrw.co.uk/free/jpgvideo/index.html).  i don't use it myself, as i have a pretty powerful video editing package which can do the job for me, but i found it when a friend said they needed something, and he seems pretty happy with it.
