Title: Desert Eagle.
Post by: floyd86 on May 11, 2008, 02:09:48 pm
I modeled this Desert Eagle handgun yesterday and used it to try out some ART reflections. Tell me what you think.

i agree with tanzim, and i especially like the broken edges of the reflection.  what causes the wobbly reflection?

what causes the wobbly reflection?

I used a slight bumpmap for the wood, which causes the reflections to make a 'wobbly' effect.

Out of curiosity, did you use the glossy reflector attribute?

For the wood i used specular>reflection and for the gun i used specular>glossy, which is pretty similar to glossyreflector.
