The forums ate my first attempt at posting this, so hopefully it doesn't post twice!
I wanted a background for my Portfolio (https://www.sammyjstudios.net/portfolio) page on my website, so I made this! I'm still super obsessed with Vaporwave aesthetics and music, and wanted to make one of those geometric abstract images myself.
After rendering, I edited it in GIMP. I even made a CRT screen version of it, and a dot-printed effect! The print version is my favorite.
If I make more of these, I'll post them here. I do still need to make at least one more image for another page on my website.
(and yes, my profile looks different! I've recently rebranded from Scamarca Productions to SammyJ Studios!)

Glowing edges gave nice aesthetics. Nice job. :)

Here's my next one! Special appearance from my Jesus model.
I had a very strange issue with this scene that I was never able to fix, causing Anim8or to crash every time I'd render more than once. I narrowed it down to having something to do with more than three pillars in the scene (specifically the curly ones). I could render ONCE, freshly after opening Anim8or, but if I tried to render again after that (ie. changing something and trying to render again), the program would crash. I troubleshooted for hours before giving up and working with only three pillars.
Did some editing in post, and adding a Bloom effect really pulled it together. I love this one even more than the first.
I've attached the unedited version with no filters under the finished piece so you can see what it looked like straight out of the render.

Nice artwork. Bloom effect gave a nice look. I also liked reflection on floor. 8)

CoriDavis how much memory does Anim8or use when you're rendering the scenes?

When I use Multithreaded ART, it uses about 93-95% of the CPU. I attached a snapshot of my monitor during a render.
The image of Jesus with the pillars still had the issue whether or not it was multithreaded. It didn't even matter if it was ART or Scanline. It only goes up to 15% at the most when it's not multithreaded.
Image 1 is Multithreaded, Image 2 is Singlethreaded.

I also finished another new artwork!
This one required a bit more editing in post. Obviously the scribble was added after the fact, but you probably noticed ART doesn't render fog. I achieved this by
1. making a HUGE dielectric cube with minimum IOR so the light wouldn't bend, and an appropriate UnitDistance so that at least the color would overtake in the distance.
2. Adding a gradient over the background in post.
If there's any (possible) smarter way to achieve fog with the ART renderer, I'd love to hear it!

Water wave scene looking beautiful. Nice artwork. 8)

These designs are now available as T-Shirts and other merch on my TeePublic store!

I modified the last two designs to be a bit more dynamic since I hate slapping a square on a T-Shirt, so those two have the originals separately as Prints.
I still plan to make more and upload them as another wave in the future.

Two new artworks!
1. "Tiled", reminds me of old VHS covers or a "Coming soon to own" screen.
2. "2.1 Gigabyte Sandwich", inspired by "Four Byte Burger" by Jack Haeger.

I call this one "Afloat". It's the simplest composition and was the quickest to make (besides creating my own background), but so far it's my favorite and I adore it.

CoriDavis your artwork are really impressive. 8)
