Title: Is it possible to model a mesh from scratch using the ASL scripts?

I was wondering if it is possible to write a script that can model a mesh, is it possible or not? What command do I use? thanks :)

In the scripts database http://www.anim8or.com/smf/index.php/topic,1705.0.html (http://www.anim8or.com/smf/index.php/topic,1705.0.html) there are scripts that create shapes.

Is this the kind of thing you mean?  You can look at the scripts to see example code / commands required.
