Title: a little bit offtopic - music resources for videogame?
Post by: runter on April 01, 2016, 08:44:23 am
Hello forum!
I am a long time anim8or user, and made several indie videogames using this great softare (Crazy Cows, Ballman Planets, Space Slice... check out www.codevikings.com)
I am about to finish my next videogame - obviously using anim8or, as always! :) but I am too tired right now to compose its OST.
Does anybody know of any webpage where I can listen and download music themes for possible videogames, contact the authors, pay them, etc?
I am *not* looking for royalty free music or free-to-download - I want the game to have its unique themes, so I am willing to pay the artists
Thanks!

I'm a LightWave user, and there's one fellow --- Eric Matyas --- who's been "sharing" his music on this site: http://soundimage.org/.  Give it a look-see.  You may want to contact him.

i've used some of Kevin McLeod's royalty-free stuff before, but he also does commissions so you might want to check out http://incompetech.com/music/services.html

I was gonna mention him. TONS upon TONS of free-to-use stuff as long as you credit his name.

Just came back after reading your post again. I'm actually an amateur sound engineer myself, I'd be interested in doing some sound work (as long as there's a decent deadline on things). PM me!
