I gave my camera a lens just to see what would happen...

aptly enough for someone with a fish bowl as their avatar, you seem to have invented a virtual fisheye!  8)

That's cool, I've been wanting to try using a lens ever since reading through the animator tutorial on light.  The way this program duplicates real world optics is amazing to me.   Nice work.
