Title: newbie problem: drag select wont stick

This is my first day using anim8tor, so this is probably a dumb question. I'm trying to follow the directions to model a foot. I can generate the tetrahedron, but when I press "drag select", a box appears as long as I have the left mouse button pressed. As soon as I release the mouse button, the selected area disappears, so that I'm unable to move the points. Do I have the button sequences wrong?

if the object is a "primitive"(yellow color around) for move the points you need select the object and menu..:
BUILD-->CONVERT TO MESH ;

what version of anim8or are you using please ?
