Title: Anim8or Application File Will Not Install Program

Hi. I downloaded the file, and when trying to install it on my laptop, I keep getting an error message. It tells me that Anim8or has stopped working. How can it stop working, if I haven't even installed it yet? I deleted the original file, downloaded it again, and still have the same problem. I love the look of this program, and I am dying to use it. Can someone please help? My OS is Windows 7. I have plenty of space on my hard drive. I don't get while it won't install. Anyone? Thanks in advance for any help.

could try running in xp mode.

Anim8or does not install itself, just unzip the file then place it anywhere you want , its an executable file,

 For Windows7 you will have to run it in Compatibility Mode. To do this  right click the executable anim8or file,  then select properties.

Now you can set   to  WindowXP Service Pack 3 , Check Disable Visual Themes  and Check Run as an Administrator Finally click ok. Now  double click the executable file

Just out of interest what version are you using??

Fixed the compatibility issue. Thanks for the assist. I can't wait to use this program! (version 0.9.8.0)

Btw, I did do a search, but I must not have popped in the right key words. I can once in a (great) while be a bit of a techno-feeb. Thanks again for the help.
