Post by: ncl32 on March 31, 2008, 12:47:59 pm
Here a quick car exhaust I made, rendered in ART. Colored to look like a Pacesetter Exhaust system. Dont think its too shabby...

Hey spicy, but there are no textures. Just plain materials. It was very simple but that was the point. I was looking for a good overall feel. Thanks for the crit!

Nice exhaust there.  I especially like the render.  Did you use the new ART raytracer?

cool exhaust - now you just need a car to put it in!  i have to say, it's certainly thinking outside the box, starting with the exhaust pipe  8)

Yeah its rendered with ART, of course! Anim8or is the only prog I use these days, along with Jasc PSP for textures and such. Most of my latest works are going to be to familiarize myself with the new raytracer, so I can get the best feel for it to create amazing final works. Thanks for the crits everyone, thats what makes the Anim8or forum great.
