Introducing.. the Bunny & Squirrel Garden Adventure!
Together, Raxx and I will create the characters, environment and animation.
More information on the story is yet to come. Just because we don't know yet either! ;D
The idea came about because we want to try out Raxx' PHUR plugin (http://www.anim8or.com/smf/index.php?topic=4614.0).
I'll be making the Bunny, Raxx the Squirrel. I'll kick it off here with a WIP on the bunny without fur. Because the fur will cover him up I'm not too worried about the small details on the body and the feet.

LOOKS GREAT SO FAR!

Yeah, a pretty random project. PHUR will probably undergo some improvements in order for us to use it.

Funny how a furless squirrel looks a lot like a rat.

Cool. Not only a great opportunity to see some top-class Anim8or stuff, but will also be a great test for 'Phur'.
Hooray for 'random projects'. ;D

Very nice modelling, gentlemen, as always! Looking forward to seeing the awesome PHUR plugin in action.

A creepy, mummified rat at that, Raxx!
Anyways, great work fellas, and I strongly echo the choruses of excited anticipation!

Love the models. Really clean work.
Nice to see some older members back in action.

Cool guys! Can't wait to see the animation
-
Thanks guys! Hope we can live up to the expectations ;)
We're working out how the workflow is going to go, and Raxx is still making adjustments to Phur, so we can't yet show any progress in that department. (And the creature is still ugly as ...)
Even though here is an update on bunny. He's fully rigged right now. We'll see how adding phur will affect the rig, but for now this will suffice.
Anim8or 0.97e's mirror bones function was very useful - thanks for that, Steve!
This is what I felt like after finishing the rig:
