Title: 2 monitors, and scrollable side toolbar
Post by: johnar on March 30, 2013, 11:42:22 am
Wasn't sure whether to post these  questions here or in the general forum. Hav done a search but not found the answers.
2 questions. Is it possible to seperate anim8or to run on 2 monitors?. It would be nice to be able to have the timetrack showing on a seperate monitor. You could open it right up without cluttering the workspace, and not so much scrolling up and down to locate different objects, figures, bones etc..  I'm pretty sure that at this stage anim8or cannot be seperated onto 2 different monitors, but would anyone hav other workarounds to help with this 'overcrowding' of the screen?

My second question, or maybe suggestion, concerns the side toolbar. I've got a few scripts, loaded and configured to show in the side toolbar. Problem is that i have too many showng, and cant access the ones at the bottom. Besides the obvious answer of 'have less scripts loaded', it would be cool if you could scroll the toolbar up and down, like you can with the materials bar.

There maybe workarounds that someone might share here, but if not, then these are a couple of things that i feel could make anim8or even more user friendly in the future.  ;)

Right-click and drag on the left toolbar to scroll it up and down ;)

Sweet thanks raxx, never knew about that.
About your second question johnar, there's no way to do that yet (you could stretch the window to fit both monitors but I don't see the point in that). However soon my engine will be able to run multiple windows and have multiple screens in fullscreen supported. I'm just waiting on a library I use to be updated, which hopefully will be soon.
