Hi, Im a IT Technician in a school. Until recently anim8or has stopped working on some of our teachers windows 7 laptops? is there any fixes? ive tryed compatabitily, new drivers. run as admin and still nothing has work? urgent as ani8or is a topic for the children so teachers need it on there laptops working!! thanks

Hi Billy. There are a number of threads on the forum relating to W7 compatibility, if your problem is not related to compatibility I would recommend searching and checking them out. In my experience Anim8or runs with no issues on W7 32bit or 64bit systems once some compatibility issues have been resolved. Right-click your Anim8or icon, open Properties and Compatibility tab. Select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" in Compatibility mode and check the 'Disable desktop composition' box in Settings, then click OK. If Anim8or fails to run correctly after this then the problem is not related to OS compatibility and could be caused by a number of things, including incompatible graphics cards or drivers, antivirus software issues, etc. and reviewing the existing threads is your best option.
