Title: removing smooth interpolation
Post by: inky84 on August 06, 2011, 09:43:26 pm
I was wondering If it was possible in anim8or to remove the smooth interpolation of textures as they are scaled? As in, use nearest-neighbour interpolation instead.

That I know of, no. If you want the pixel-look as if it was a sprite (or whatever), I suggest using a program to scale the texture to up to 8x the size of the resolution you'll be rendering at.

The images below are renders done in anim8or--

#1 is a close up of a spritesheet without the texture being scaled in a paint program
#2 is a close up of the spritesheet, the texture scaled in a paint program to about 4x the render size
#3 is a close up of the spritesheet, the texture scaled in a paint program to about 8x the render size
