Title: The Streets
Post by: Mreenav D on October 15, 2010, 02:11:32 pm
ok..im back here after a long time.this is a simple street for a nightime illumination test .i know that the benches are a bit cranky but my emphasis was on lighting more than modelling.Any criticism will be highly appreciated.

Umm... critism.. hmm... I GOT IT!

IT LOOKS STUPID AND HORRID! I WOULD RATHER LOOK AT A PILE OF DOG POO!
Just kidding

I really like the look of it, except its quite dark (even in the focal point).
One thing that for sure can help the scene to make it look more realistic is infact, imperfectness or even clutter. Try adding in some cracks in the wall or a drain pipe or possibly a newspaper on the ground etc.

one thing i noticed is the textures are a little stretched out. you might want to scale them down a bit.

hey Mreenav, on the first one it looks really cool but the textures could be a wee bit higher quality. the skateboard it absolutely beautiful, and i agree with cooldude, i hope the final is even better! good work so far!
