Hey Everybody, It's been a while since I've been on the forums.
I'm just a little curious. It seems that nothing has changed since I've last been here, and it's been at least close to 2 whole years. What's going on with anim8or. Will V0.98 ever come out?

Last time i saw Steve here was in 2008, and the site hasn't been updated since '06. But like many on this forum say, these things take time, and Steve has other obligations besides Anim8or.

Steve logs in regularly-ish to make sure everything's alright and to ban the pile of spammers that the moderators deal with. As for development, don't hold your breath and just continue to do what you do. If Anim8or isn't enough for you anymore then find software to supplement or replace it, that's how it works.

i wonder, why anim8or isnt open source.... i mean, its a great program, so why cant we develop it if steve will stop somewhen?

Because he doesn't want it to be open-source. :)

And he does log in every few days, as Raxx stated, and I'm sure he's hard at work on Anim8or.
