Title: Exporting figure
Post by: glorfon on July 28, 2010, 10:27:57 pm
I need to get a figure into .DAE format for a video game developer.  I can do this with a model by exporting as .3ds bringing it into blender and then exporting from there as .DAE.  But when I try to export a figure and bring it into blender it looks like it just exported the model not the skeleton.  How can I export a figure? Is the button all for naught?

Hi glorfon,
You can export an anim8or figure, and then import to another anim8or file.
Thats why the button is there. :)

Let's not forget that, just because Anim8or can't export an object in .dae format, most other modeling software can import .obj and/or .3ds files!

No one forgot that.  In fact I mentioned it in the second sentence of my first post.
