Hi i Enter to final boss compo.. for that i use anim8or for model, texture and compose.. (usual)
still in wip mode..
-
Nice work, man!
It looks like a game dragon or something :)
You also have to make the environment.
-
now testing lights an materials
-
Model textured an now rigged in milkshape and animation ready for fpsc..
-
testing scene in anim8or.. no lights no efx... just simply mesh and plain textures..

Looks good... I mean not the creature itself but rendering ;p
Are you working on your own game?
-
Great job so far, I love the very natural posing & nice detail!
A crit I would have is that the creatures might be a bit too 'crowded' , its hard to make out seperate details, but that is the style you've chosen so it's more of a personal view on it..
Great work though! cant wait to see some more!

thats what i call cool!!!do u use db to make games yourself or r u just a modeller?
-
i make app in DB, not sure to make games...

Looks almost like painting! Is it postprocessed or only the hand drawn texture (with painted shadows) is responsible for this painterly effect?
-
90% processed 10% alias touch for final render... if you look in the 1rst post model looks like painted.. is the texture efx, i try to use texture paint for add false spot lights, and black bmo for efx like thunders, fire, glow etx... i no use decals.. you can use transparent png in db or black background bmp files to add custom shadows like the scene..
in this pick you can see black boxs, there is the glow efx in the final render (art render)
Here yo can see hoe add light spot or glow in anim8or..

-
congratulations man you always have really good stuff to show.
im curious though. what program do you use to import your rigs and animations into dark basic?
-
use milkshape and direct x (JT) Bone and skin plugin exporter..
-
Really good work, Keep it up.
-
Hello Neodelito, :)
I'm a great admirator of your meshes and textures, your really have your own style and i love the results ! ;)
I keep working on my modeling / unwraping / texturing skills to be one day at your level (not yet ;D)
I'm curious, what program do you use to unwrap your meshes ?
I understand your method to model meshes now, you seem to always model in a way that there is a "recto" and "verso" of the mesh so you can apply your drawings directly on it, the unwrap is easier.
Thanks for your answers, keep the great work ! ;)
-
hi ranko, thanks.. i use only anim8or for model and unwrap textures (plane and cylindrical)
-
Awesome it is! The lightning was nice, giving the monster spotlight!
Fearless little creeps below added the revengeful picture!
Nice job!!!
