Windows 7, 64 bit, HP pavilion dm3 notebook PC, genuine inter(R) CPU.
500 gigs hardrive, 4 gigs ram
None of the anim8tor versions work. I've tried .95 and the latest one .97.
Running as administrator doesn't seem to do anything, after clicking on the icon, the mouse goes busy and then nothing happens.
Any Ideas? I got Maya to compensate for no anim8tor, but...anim8tor is soooo much more easy to use, I'd rather use anim8tor.

Don't know what to tell you, except you could try right clicking the anim8or.exe, going to the compatability tab then check the box next to "run this program in compatability mode for:" then click apply and try and open it.
not sure if this will work but thats how people got it to work on vista, I don't see a reason for it not to work on the 64 bit version of 7, I'm sitting with the 32 bit version and anim8or runs fine.

It's all about whether or not your graphics driver supports OpenGL. I have Windows 7, 64 bit and it works fine for me. Laptop video chipsets for some reason have a problem with including OpenGL support. Try to search teh webz for a driver for your display driver that supports OpenGL. I did that for my laptop (it had vista) and it worked ok, except for the crashiness. It also broke my World of Warcraft playability, so I had to roll it back.

Man, I'm getting a laptop for Christmas (its an HP dual core, windows 7), I hope I dont have any issues getting anim8or to run...
