Post by: Kyle101 on November 18, 2009, 11:23:22 pm
I want to know how to add 3D animations to real life videos. Like adding a flying disc in the air on a home video. is there any programs i can try?

Probably the way to go would be 'chromokeying'.
I use Sony Vegas Movie studio, which has an excellent chromokeyer. ;)
You could search for something free. Sony cost me about $80 through www.newegg.com

Chromokeying is like, you would render your flying disc in anim8or with a pure green background, then that file goes into sony and is placed on the track 'above' the real-life video.  When you chromokey the .an8 rendered video, all the green will disappear and the other video will show through.
Its a  really cool thing.  ;D
