Title: Ninja weapons
Post by: Khaspah on October 18, 2009, 04:51:21 am
Hi

Recently I´ve been making some ninja weapons. Here are the final results.
Ironically, the kusarigama, which is my favorite, is the worst of all. I´d like to give the string a more "stringy" look... Any ideas on how to do that?

Thanks for your c&c´s :-)

Ya, they're pretty good man. My favorite is also the scythe one with the rope attachment,=)
I don't see anything wrong with the rope, and if I did, I wouldn't be able to help because I'm not that good, but its nice!

for that you realy need inverse kenmetics somthin. but anim8or dosnt have that yet. i would make it a figure.or you could make it a part of your figure and add extra bones. mabe morphs but i think that would drive you insane.

for the string part you were talking about, a good texture would help but why don't you use the spring plug-in? just change some of the settings to it and then use a bend modifier on it. That may give you the results that you are looking for.

Pretty nice looking ninja weapons. :)

Only crit I could give is the blade for the roped scythe could have some non-smooth edges.

Thanks to all.

I´ll check the spring plug-in (as soon as I discover what is that ;D)

@Ringwall: you´re right, maybe that´s the reason I think it has something strange...
