I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to save a figure from one project onto another saved profect? For example, i have followed the animating water tutorial on http://www.biederman.net/leslie/terranim8or/terranim8or.htm, and i want to use the effect on my already started project, but when i click on open it opens a whole new project apart from my origanal one.

If I understand correctly, open your water project then import your figure file as you would any other object, i.e. Object > Import (figure file) then copy your figure and paste it into your water object (if that makes sense to you)

sorry i'm not very good at explaining things! What i have done is i have made a project on anim8or. And i have made a water animation on terrainim8or. And i want to add the water to my project, but when i open it on anim8or, it opens in a new anim8or project and not my already prepared project :S

is there not an option in terranim8or for adding the water to a specified anim8or file ?
That's how it works for fire, you set up the fire you like to have and tell terranim8or to add the code to your anim8or file.

thank you so much :) i imported the water into the already made project, but i have one more question! When it added to the project, it added to a new scene, I tried copying and pasting it to the scene i wanted but the paste button was blocked out. How could i get the water animation onto the scene i need it on?

You're welcome
I never copied one scene into another but you could try copying your scene into the water scene.
If that fails, just rebuild your "ordinary" scene in your water scene. ;)

i hope i understand, if i do; when you copy and paste from scene to scene your subject has to have the same name for one and the keys like, position, scale, orentaiton, any bones or morphs have to be keyed. evon if its 0. hope that helps. hope i understand.
