Title: Shadow anyway?
Post by: sloGGan on August 29, 2009, 07:07:16 pm
Hi, I have one problem! How to show shadows in any material, I only can show shadows in grid, but I need to show shadow in material.

How to do this?

double click the object that you want to receive shadow. In the pop-up screen, look down, there you can select wether you want an object to receive and or cast shadows.

Hope that enough ;) good luck

You need to click on the lights as well to tell them to cast shadows.

thought he had already figured that out, since he was able to get a shadow on the grid, but indeed, that's shouldn't be forgotten ;)

that's very hard for a beginner... you better start of with some tutorials and try to make some examples from the manual... ;)

If you do the flag morphin tutorial you should be able to apply the basic principles to make water animation but It might not look that realistic...
